HEARTLESS HUNTER X SLAVIC FOURTH WING 🎭 She, a humble servant posing as Duchess, is his executioner-to-be. 🐉 He, the arrogant Dragon Prince, must save a kingdom from the encroaching Ever-Dark. 🖤 Neither anticipated falling for the one destined to be their undoing. #questpit #NA #R #F #DF #Q
A gothic-style book cover titled "Root and Ruin." Centered is a glowing, cyan-blue dragon coiled into a circle, its scales etched with faint, runic symbols. Golden, gnarled roots extend downward from the dragon like branching veins against the pitch-black background. Text at the top reads "Enemies to Lovers," "Fated Mates," and "Fake Identity," with "An Agent’s Guide" in the top right. Subtitle reads "80k • NA Slavic Romantasy," and the bottom logline says, "She is sent to kill the dragon. Instead, she might become his only salvation."A graphic titled "The Comps" in golden lettering. It displays four book covers arranged in a grid: "Heartless Hunter" by Kristen Ciccarelli, "Fourth Wing" by Rebecca Yarros, "Shadow and Bone" by Leigh Bardugo, and "The Witcher: The Last Wish" by Andrzej Sapkowski.A self-made fantasy illustration showing a halfway transformed, dark-haired man, Prince Konstantin Veliki, with a silver crown and dragon wings. He is carrying a woman, a humble servant Iva, masquerading as a Duchess Zora, in a long, flowing cream-colored gown as they fly through the air. She is his guest but unbeknownst to him, she is plotting to poison him. In the background, a sprawling forest surrounds a magic academy, Kolegium with colorful, traditional Slavic-style onion domes—gold, silver, bronze and green. Each of the domes represents air, water, fire and earth magic respectively. Snippet text at the bottom reads: "Do you always sequester your guests and take flight with them?"A self-made illustration set in the catacombs under the magic academy, Kolegium, featuring classical-style statues on the walls. Iva, in dark armor, rides a bright, light blue-scaled dragon; it is Prince Konstantin Veliki in his dragon form.
They face off against a monstrous, ethereal shadow dragon composed of wispy, black smoke and glowing eyes — this is Konstantin’s fallen father Tibor Veliki. A brilliant golden sphere of light, relic of the Slavic god of light, Belobog, called Spark of Creation, floats on a pedestal between them. Text at the bottom of the snippet reads: "Let us dance, little one," the Shadow Dragon hisses in a dry whisper of the fallen. "A worthy foe," Konstantin responds. We take to the air to meet the darkness. Two gargantuan winged silhouettes hover in the abyss, suspended in a precarious balance. They mirror one another; two sides of the same coin, champions of Belobog and Chernobog.

THE EVERWINTER KING Querying Soon! Desperate to find his oldest friend, the missing sun god, a former holy king returns to the home he abandoned and the people he betrayed to reunite with his god and prevent an endless winter. #QuestPit #Q #A #F #AgentsGuide
Title page for an agent's guide to THE EVERWINTER KING. The title is placed over a moodboard featuring a Mediterranean inspired setting and royalty imagery. In addition to the title the page reads "Adult Fantasy Standalone. Queer normative world. MM romance subplot. 95,000 words."
THE EVERWINTER KING's pitch.

PITCH
A former holy king does the one thing he swore he’d never do in search of his missing god. He goes home.

Malachi was born with God’s voice in his head. When God vanishes in the midst of a decade-long winter, Mal breaks the oath he made to himself and returns to the home he abandoned—the city where he was raised to be king. There, he’s marked to compete in trials meant to select God’s new emissary. His replacement.

After succeeding in the first trial, Mal demands entry to the royal temple, where he learns the skies are empty. God has stopped speaking to his priests and Mal alike. With no other avenue for answers, Mal must win the competition for God’s favor and assume the throne he never wanted, or risk losing his oldest friend for good and damning the world to a worsening everwinter. An excerpt from THE EVERWINTER KING.

“My head hurts,” Malachi mumbled into his drink.

“They say King Ridaris’ eye glowed like this.”

Did they? Malachi shuffled through his memories for any mention of that from his mothers, or the history books, and found nothing.

“I think it means God knows who you are.” Sen lowered her voice, eyes shifting toward the surrounding priests. Kinder to pretend she did it out of concern for his headache. “You need to be careful.”

“Aye.”

“It hasn’t stopped glowing. Everyone else’s did.”

He raised a hand to cover his eye, pausing to marvel at the light pouring over his fingers and palm. It spilled into every crack, crevice, and scar his hand had to offer, like liquid pooled against his skin. Malachi closed his fist around the cold light and pressed it to his face. “Hurts.”

“Close your eyes,” Samara offered. “Rest. We’ll handle it from here.”

For once, he did just that.A page listing comp titles.

Comp titles for THE EVERWINTER KING include: "The Raven Scholar" by Antonia Hodgson, "The Raven Tower" by Ann Leckie, "WITCH KING" by Martha Wells, and "The Red Winter" by Cameron Sullivan.

Similarities include: godly shenanigans, political trials, queer-norm worlds, queer male leads, messy homecomings, and a second chance subplot.

Bonus comp! Dragon Age 2.

His hunger transcends anything as simple as lust. A perfect replica of my own.
Our appetite goes beyond the physical. What we starve for is not the body, but the soul.
Spirits, which I'm certain, have known each other for millennia—longing and finding one another, again and again against all odds.
Nothing can come between what is immaterial.
Even less so when it is destined
A divine homecoming.
He is the vessel of my existence. The missing half that completes me. There is no him without me. And without him, there is no me.
-
And how do I tell him I'd gladly crawl beneath his armor, inside his clothes and past his skin? Fight myself through sinews and bone, every ligament and essence that makes him him, and live on solely to keep his soul free of any pain?
Caretaker of his soul for eternity.
-
A touch, as soft as a feather.
The dull edges of fingernails.
Deliberate and as exquisitely slow as molasses.
I arch into these luxuries like a cat wanting for more.
Hum at the whispery strokes as they comb through my scalp, down my hair, in pursuit of my jaw and finally my décolleté.
I know it's him.
Scent him like a vampire would sweet blood.

TWISTED TETHER Rapunzel and Hercules become star-crossed in my romantic dystopian fantasy! ✨️Postapocalyptic Appalachian Fantasy✨️ ✨️Mythology✨️ ✨️Slow Burn Romance✨️ ✨️Found Family✨️ ✨️Hidden Demigod✨️ #questpit #A #D #RF #Q
Twisted Tether (98,000 words) is an adult dystopian fantasy romance, written in dual pov by T. A. Westy. The picture is of the FMC, Adara Hunt, who carries heretical brandings on her neck and back. Another image shows a scene from the swamps where Adara travels. Only a god can kill a god.

A fugitive cursed with heretical markings travels postapocalyptic Appalachia in search of answers, accompanied by a secret demigod enlisted to spy on her and steal her magic. Gods monopolize magic in Adara’s world, where she must decide: follow the tether to Earth’s power, risking everything, or go back into hiding, to a life of pain and isolation. Both options threaten her relationship with Elias, who faces his own demons: obey his mother and the law, or do the unthinkable—defy the gods to protect Adara.

The image shows Adara Hunt (FMC), Elias Lindholm (MMC), and the raven familiar of the story, Belrue.Rapunzel and Hercules are star-crossed in my adult dual POV dystopian fantasy romance. Readers who vibe with the father-daughter dynamic in The Last of Us, the hunted female lead with earthen magic in Demi Winters's ROAD OF BONES, and the emotional complexity of love versus duty in Sue Lynn Tan’s IMMORTAL will devour this manuscript.

Road of Bones: third-person close, lesser-known mythology, FMC hunted for her magic

Brothers Grim Rapunzel: confinement and longing for a naive FMC with moxie

Immortal: hidden identities, love vs duty, moral ambiguity

Dwayne Johnson's Hercules: underrepresented demigod MMC, fate vs free will

The Last of Us: Father/daughter dynamic, found family
Opening Page of TWISTED TETHER by T. A. Westy

“I had a Dreaming of the god on the cliff, calling me to take the girl. I’ve ignored it, because fuck the gods, but I fear fate is afoot…” -Jax Curr journal entry, September 314 Awakened Age (AA)

Fayette, Jericho Province, Present Day June 324 AA

The ointment always burned before it soothed Adara Hunt’s wound.
Though Uncle Jax’s arborist hands were calloused from years of cultivating his land, his fingertips moved nimbly over the sore, raw bit of flesh pestering her along her nape. She’d barely slept a wink last night, it ached so deep. Now, after a full day of tree climbing, cutting dead limbs, and harvesting felled logs—followed by the unfortunate detour at the willow grove—her limbs shook where she sat, hunched over a stool in his study.
He daubed a poultice onto the wound and murmured an incantation. His amulet glowed lilac, illuminating the dusky room. The flare reflected in his heterochromatic eyes, which narrowed on the twisting lines of her open brand. It curled just below her right earlobe, trailing along her hairline.
She winced.
He slowed. Softened. “Sorry, kid.”
“S’okay…”
Steps sounded down the hall, and her cousin, Toby, stopped in the doorway. Eighteen months older at twenty-two, he possessed a square jaw and big baby-blue eyes, accentuated by deep red curls and smattering of freckles.
Toby placed both hands on the frame flanking him. “The damn cow got out of the fence again. I’m gonna go track her down—I’ll make dinner when I get back.”
Jax merely grunted from where he worked.
