I (20F) was publicly rejected by every god in existence during a mandatory religious ceremony. Everyone else got a divine seal proving a god had claimed them. I got sentenced to a life of prayer.

Anyways, shortly after that, my brother was drafted into a divine war, so I stole his paperwork, forged a divine seal, and joined the army in his place. In my defense, it worked.

Unfortunately, I accidentally developed unblessed elemental magic. Now my commanding officer keeps looking at me like he knows I'm lying, and recruits keep disappearing. Also, I may be developing feelings for home even though he could have me executed for treason. AITA?
