As mentioned on this week's ep, we're heartbroken to hear of the passing of Eien ni Hen. She was an unsung hero of the fan-translation scene and will be deeply missed. If you're unfamiliar with her work, please give Magnvs' article a read. magnvsrpgjourney.substack.com/p/found-in-t...

Found in translation: the selfless legacy of Eien Ni Hen

For those who followed the English fantranslation efforts of Japanese RPGs since the very first days, back when the idea of playing localized versions of Final Fantasy V, Tales of Phantasia, Star Ocea...

I agree about the "too may activities to manage between the main battles", but I disagree about their prominence over tactical thinking. If you play Hard/Classic, when you get some Paralogue Missions you are indeed required to think out of the box and all of the main battles after...

I am enjoying my time with #FireEmblemFortunesWeave but it perpetuates an issue that #FireEmblem I don’t think has elegantly answered yet. I like the calendar and maps system here more than Three Houses though

It’s so funny that Capcom dropped 4 well received games but people always just say 3 bangers . It’s so clear which one got exiled from public discourse 😭😭. Imma get to you Monster Hunter Stories 3 one day, and Imma big up your name.

I like Triangle Strategy, I am not above none SRPG content in my SRPG. It’s often something that I dig. I remember thinking I was gonna hate 3 Houses because of the school. I didn’t buy it for 4 years but when I played , it was still engaging.

I don’t know what good real time combat is to people, it makes it hard to read and understand reviews. I still feel like I am trying to understand it myself. Kirby Superstar, Tales of Vesperia , FF7 Rebirth, Streets of Rage 4 , Mega Man X and Control are where I tend to come from .
