I went to my family's home region recently, and more importantly forced my father to visit it (something he's been avoiding to do in over 30 years). Needless to say, there's a level of peace your mind finds when it's at the right spot even when everything else seems so bleak over there.

LGBTK+ človeške ribice za moje kvir Slovence 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️ A small project I did while on a trip. The designs feature the olm (Proteus anguinus), a species of blind cave salamanders from the western Dinaric karst, that is often used as a symbol of Slovenia.

Nice AI-image-generating tool, but it will never be as great an artist as Onfim, a child who lived in the Novgorod Republic in the mid-1200s and who scribbled these drawings and schoolwork writings on birch bark at the age of 6 or 7.

Jandrija's soul most commonly assumes the shape of a rooster. In this form he can't use his magical powers fully, and his body is vulnerable, but he feels a lot more at peace like this. He shows his "true" form only to other witches or people he deeply trusts.

In many Balkan folk beliefs, witches, like other supernatural beings, have a soul shaped like an animal, usually a flying animal such as birds or moths. Their souls can leave the body through the mouth, roaming freely while the body sleeps.

Hajro is a bisexual man with a preference for men. He is generally promiscuous and very openly shows his interest in men, but due to his traumatic experiences as a teenager, his interest always stays on a temporary level.
