Sarah Drasner @sarahedo.bsky.social · 28/09/2026I made a site to explain System One thinking (Jev is an example of this)! We make fast judgments all day, some models can too. The guide explains how to use those quick judgments in software. In my typical way, it leverages interactive animations, and Night Owl 🦉 system-one-explainer.netlify.app 4613

No matter what happens, we’re all united each day in knowing we should all be unfollowing Jerry. 1120

It was 14 years ago that @shanley.com came to my desk, put both hands on it, looked me in the eye and said “you HAVE to be on Twitter”. I had been refusing, and she was my boss. Best thing anyone ever did for my career, honestly. 3451

Sarah Drasner @sarahedo.bsky.social · 08/09/2026But combined, it’s powerful. It can create a safeguard against generating an action a user might not want or be expecting. And it gives more tools to developers to have precision in what should be occurring on their site. So the collective effect can keep users safer. 130
Sarah Drasner @sarahedo.bsky.social · 08/09/2026The interesting thing about hints like this, unlike other web specs, is that both the site and the agent have to get it right for it to work. If one side exposes a hint and the other doesn’t honor it, it’s not doing much. And alternatively, if the site doesn’t expose… you get it. 110
Sarah Drasner @sarahedo.bsky.social · 08/09/2026It looks like this: annotations: { consequentialHint: true } For agent/model devs: agent should regard this as a time to take a step back, ask for user verification- if there’s an alignment tool critic, it should judge whether or not a consequential action is appropriate given the user’s request 110
