Happy Thanksgiving! Reposting this #RubeGoldberg video from a year ago, also shows off my favorite level, Simple Way to Carve a Turkey. So dark and irreverent, typical Rube (vr version not yet available, but original version on mobile and Steam)

Looking at the Rube Goldberg-esque collection of cans and kitchen appliances I have MacGuyvered into holding my phone charging cable at just the right angle to actually charge my phone and thinking “eh, I don’t really need a new phone charger when I can just do this.”

Gladys Parker, fashion designer and creator of the cartoon panel "Mopsy," was born on November 25, 1908. (She took the title “Mopsy” from a playful quip by Rube Goldberg, who teased her that her hair looked like a mop.)

Being an engineer is fun because you can come up with solutions to common situations, but those solutions are allowed to be stupid. :D I like Rube Goldberg machines, in other words.

Thanks. Actually "no querrás saltarte este paso" is a more accurate translation since the English is "You DON'T want to skip this step!" which is very close to the intent of your theme park example.

No need to apologize. Thank you for speaking up. How would this be instead for the line "You DON'T want to skip this step!" to "¡NO querrás saltarte este paso!"

That may have been intentional, since Rube Goldberg often made up his own creatures and words. But if you have a specific example or two, we’d be happy to take a look.

Actually all of the in-game translations were done over 10 years ago by real people, native speakers, but not always professionals. Spanish was a bit tougher, since which version to use? Ours was Colombian.
