Reposted by Mai MorimotoGiorgio Gilestro @giorgio.gilest.ro · 10/03/2026Happy to announce I've launched a new service for the fly community: flyRoom, a web-based comprehensive stock manager for all your fly pushing needs. Organise all your stocks, maps all your genotypes, plan your crosses, print and scan your labels. Give it a try and let your colleagues know! 45528

This idea won't allow a distinction of landmarks from the scene. Unexpectedly, our data suggest that 🐝 learn 3D-objects as individual landmarks. #neuroethology www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1... 44621

We explore how foraging can offer a framework for studying brain and behaviour in natural contexts. It’s been a pleasure working with colleagues across species and disciplines on this. Together with collegues we started a virtual seminar series, which grew into a conference and now a review!authors.elsevier.comScienceDirect.com | Science, health and medical journals, full text articles and books. 23312

I've watched a lot of fly behavior, but never seen anything like this. Makes you wonder how much we miss by studying lab organisms in isolation from their natural threats.
