Okay, Doomer. I’ve been thinking a lot about the phenomenon of doomerism, and how best to combat the cynicism it induces. Arguing with them doesn’t help because conflict feeds social media clout. So, I have settled on mockery. I like “Okay, Doomer” because it plays off a meme already in place.

I swear to God that in a world of AI and algorithms and slop social media I will do my best to be an actual _interesting_ human being. I will still do stuff that's mainstream, but I'll also pursue everything I find interesting just cause why not. I really wish more people would do that.

This past Gallifrey One, we had this episode on the Tubi app. I was in the room, Erika was doing her hair in the bathroom. This scene came on and I was trying to hold it together. Once it ended, Erika poked her head out and we discovered we were both in tears.

I correctly guessed the year an episode of Juliet Bravo was made based on the shocking amount of snow on the ground and reasoned it was probably shot in early 1985 in the snow just like the exterior scenes of Revelation of the Daleks were. I’m on top of the world.
