The Packers are placing wide receiver Jayden Reed on injured reserve due to his neck injury. Reed is out indefinitely as he continues his recovery, with the possibility that he could miss the remainder of the season. Reed posted a brief message on Instagram today: “11 out.” For an offense already struggling to find its footing behind a battered offensive line, his absence adds another problem to a growing list. Green Bay will need its remaining receivers to shoulder more of the load. There’s no definitive timetable for his return. For now, the Packers have to prepare to move forward without him.         View this post on Instagram                       A post shared by 𓅓¹¹ (@jreed5__) Filed Under: Packers News   PLEASE SUBSCRIBE TO OUR CHEESEHEAD NATION WEEKLY NEWSLETTER HERE. __________________________ Tags: Green Bay Packersjayden reed Like 0 points

The Green Bay Packers added some much-needed experience to their offensive line Thursday, signing guard Cordell Volson to the practice squad. Volson joined his new teammates on the practice field after completing a successful workout with the team. The 28-year-old was selected by the Cincinnati Bengals in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft and immediately became a regular starter. He started all 16 of his appearances as a rookie, all 17 games in 2023 and 15 games during the 2024 season. A shoulder injury suffered during training camp ended Volson’s 2025 season before it began. He underwent surgery and was released by Cincinnati with a waived/injured designation during final roster cuts. Volson spent this summer with the Tennessee Titans but failed to make their initial roster. He played 73 preseason snaps at right guard, allowing one sack and two pressures while being flagged once, according to Pro Football Focus. Volson gives the Packers an experienced option who has already logged 48 NFL starts. He fills the lone opening on Green Bay’s practice squad.
