Zeitler, 36, might cost the Packers some money, possibly $6-8 million, some in the league have estimated. He's a right guard. Laken Tomlinson, 34, is a left guard. Those two could be the starters if Packers go with both. They would be putting a lot of trust in some aging vets.

#Packers brought in veteran G Kevin Zeitler for a visit. It wasn't a tryout, but it doesn't mean they won't sign him. Stay tuned.

We will have one in the old Teams format. Still waiting for the new blog to be finished.

Tom Silverstein, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel @tspoon62.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

#Packers’ estimated injury report: Anthony Campbell (ankle), Aaron Banks (toe), Donovan Jennings (hand), Warren Brinson (calf), along with Zach Bako-Bewele and Jayden Reed are DNPs.

Tom Silverstein, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel @tspoon62.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

If they had lost another tackle in the game, the #Packers would have played TE Tucker Kraft there. In fact, he was close to going in when Jacob Monk was being seen on the sideline and it wasn't clear if he was coming back.

2314

Tom Silverstein, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel @tspoon62.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

In warmups, Jacob Monk is working as the No. 1 right guard for the #Packers. We'll see if Anthony Belton works in during the game.

#Packers guard Aaron Banks is active vs. #Jets. Inactives: 21 CB Benjamin St-Juste 73 OL John Williams 79 OL Travis Glover 91 DT Warren Brinson 98 DT Javon Hargrave

#Packers defensive tackle Chris McClellan was not fined for his hit on #Vikings quarterback Carson Wentz. McClellan was flagged for roughing the passer, landing on Wentz with all his weight. However, replays showed McClellan tried to brace himself, so that might have played a part in no fine.

Tom Silverstein, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel @tspoon62.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

Well, it turns out Van Ness was not fined for that play. He was fined for a third-quarter play where his hand briefly pulled down Carson Wentz's facemask. Van Ness let go, but he definitely made contact with Wentz's helmet. Wentz is protected in the pocket, but you still can't hit Murray in head.

#Packers slot corner Javon Bullard did not get fined for contact with #Vikings quarterback Kyler Murray in Week 1. But edge Lukas Van Ness did, as we reported Friday. He is docked $17,911 blow to the head or neck. S Evan Williams was fined $7,087 for a hit on a defenseless player (Justin Jefferson).

Tom Silverstein, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel @tspoon62.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

#Packers injury report: DT Jovan Hargrave (concussion) is doubtful. It means rookie Chris McClellan and Anthony Campbell should see more snaps versus #Jets.

151

Tom Silverstein, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel @tspoon62.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

No big changes on #Packers injury report other than Hargrave not practicing.

Tom Silverstein, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel @tspoon62.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

#Packers edge Lukas Van Ness (concussion) in pads during individuals today. DT Javon Hargrave (concussion) not working.

#Packers injury report: DT Javon Hargrave and OLB Lukas Van Ness have concussions. Both practiced on a limited basis, however.

Gotcha. Yeah, I did have those reservations, but I was really just trying to reflect on the one decision that seemed such a slam-dunk in that situation. Yeah, you want to exert your will on the road, but they hadn't been running it well and Love looked like he didn't have great form for a sneak.

1111

Tom Silverstein, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel @tspoon62.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

Yes, at some point, we well. When? I'm waiting to hear.

3111

Tom Silverstein, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel @tspoon62.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

It's really not about anything more than the call. I disagree with it. And then the team didn't respond to the Vikings' momentum. They just kind of folded.

4151

Tom Silverstein, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel @tspoon62.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

Regardless of what happened on that defensive drive, the Packers still had a chance to stop the 2-point conversion, get the ball and score and make a game of it. They collapsed. No getting around that.

10353

Tom Silverstein, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel @tspoon62.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

And that's going to be that. Ball way behind Christian Watson, gets tipped and it's an interception. Collapse all but complete.

Vikings score 22 straight points to take a 32-22 lead with 4:48 left. Enough said.

6150

Tom Silverstein, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel @tspoon62.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

Now the Packers are doomed. Flores out foxes LaFleur with three straight blitzes that crush the offense and give the Vikings a first down at the 1-yard line.

12140

Tom Silverstein, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel @tspoon62.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

Bottom line is you take the points for an 8-point lead and don't let the crowd back in the game. You expect to get homered. It's a part of the game. Then don't take dumb chances when you're in control of the game.

14486

Tom Silverstein, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel @tspoon62.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

You can't go to the head of the quarterback. That's just the rule. He had his arm up and hit the quarterback in the head. They're pretty clear about that.

1050

Tom Silverstein, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel @tspoon62.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

The Packers should have been off the field at least three times during that drive, but penalties buried them and now they're behind. VIKINGS 25, PACKERS 22 after the 2-point conversion.
