Small reminder as a complete neutral that Michael Oliver has never issued a red card to a Manchester City player despite being a premier league referee since August 2010. Myles Lewis-Skelly sending off is a joke by an awful referee.

I should have used better sentence structure. In general managers get dgws just like players so you can get 4 manager matches from 3 gameweeks for example. Managers can leave for any reason, or get poached. Imagine you had Graham Potter at Brighton and he goes to Chelsea halfway through your 🍟

It will change I assume when manager review comes in. Coming through the pipeline at FIFA at the moment. Manager gets x reviews a game. If they are wrong they lose the review. Like tennis. Assume match changing decisions like red cards will be factored in regardless of which combo they come from 🤔

Romero got sent off v Chelsea last season for the same reason I believe. The concept above is more of way to allow the referees to unfuck themselves. Lewis' red card will be rescinded within 3 days.

Thinking about it, VAR could have intervened. The foul ON Rico Lewis was studs up and out of control. Should have at least sent Referee to the screen for a subjective decision on whether to send off the Palace player, in the process giving them the authority to retract the yellow on Lewis.

Is it also worth considering Manchester City's relationship with top officials? Michael Oliver was paid to referee in Abu Dhabi and has incredibly not shown a 🟥 red card to a City player once.

Is it worth considering Pep has always been a luxury manager Give him: - the best player in the world - the best squad in the world - any transfers he wants - financial doping - interesting medical practices (Dr Cugat) This City team looked boring last year. Over managed into a box.
