"Downtown Nekketsu Story" should actually be River City Ransom. But RCR isn't on this site, so I had to use the Japanese title. I'm sure if you ask me tomorrow, it'll be a different nine games. Lunar is one of the few JRPGs I can beat without getting tired of it. #My9Games

Ran across this Magic card while doing inventory at work today. The Fozzie-tier jokes are limitless. "Hada Freeblade... But then I got one that costs money." "Hada Freelbade... But then I lost it." "Hada Freeblade... But it broke. You get what you pay for."

Magic: The Gathering card "Hada Freeblade". It is a white Creature card with a mana cost of one white mana and stats of 0/1. The creature type is Human Soldier Ally. The text box reads: "Whenever Hada Freeblade or another Ally enters the battlefield under your control, you may put a +1/+1 counter on Hada Freeblade." I haven't done pixel art in a while, so I fired up Aseprite. I wanted to do something that looked like it could be from an NES beat-em-up. 32x32 pixels. Six colors used. With sprite layering, it's theoretically possible on real hardware (each NES sprite is 3 colors plus transparency).

This logo was a lot of goofing around in Affinity Designer, using the Highway Gothic and Spirit Fox typefaces. Each letter of "Uproar" has been resized and/or stretched. The arrows were added by converting the letters to curves and then merging down additional layers. The entire SVG is 68.4 kb.

Did I spend way too long writing a PICO-8 die roller for my upcoming TTRPG? Yes. Do you need it? No. A handful of D10s will get you there. When the game comes out, the roller will be a free add-on. Just like the game, this isn't quite finished yet.

Major Magic's was basically a Chuck E Cheese / Showbiz kind of place in Michigan. It went under. If I remember correctly, it almost came back, but then this thing happened where people couldn't go out in public for a year.

I am a basic dude. Just give me that popcorn with too much fake butter on it. I do have to say the concession stand at the US-23 Drive-in has some good burgers. And the Memory Lane Drive-in has a rad sampler basket with chicken fingers and cheese sticks and stuff.
