Going big for our weekly Sunday protest in Ferndale tomorrow. I borrowed the phrase from the Internet, I wish I could remember where so I could credit them. Our only gas station in town only sells regular. I'd hate to see what the diesel price would be if they sold it. #trump #gasPrices

Just finished the big project I've been working on the last few months, repainting the front of our Victorian. I still have a few more projects I'd like to get done before El Niño hits, but this was the main one that needed to get done before the rainy season starts.

I think 53 pumpkins should get us comfortably through the winter for pumpkin pie. Even more left on the vines but I'm not sure they will fully ripen as the vines are beginning to die. All this from just 3 plants. Maybe next year I'll settle on just one. #garden #harvest

A tiny Tutelina elegans jumping spider hunting in the middle of a butterfly bush. The spider is maybe 1/4" long and hard to see with the naked eye until it moves.

A couple of weeks ago I gave a tour of the orangeness in our garden. Today we've shifted to a different shade.
