Remember Simon Bar Sinister on Underdog? I was watching Rivals and a pub is called Bar Sinister. I got curious. Turns out a diagonal line in heraldry is a bend sinister, sometimes called Bar Sinister. Roughly means bastard. So Underdog has a villain named Simon the Bastard.

Free Hand was the first GG album I bought. Never heard of them. I liked the album cover so took a chance. Less than a year later I had tickets to see them. I drove over 3 hours to see them. One of the best shows of my life. They were amazing live.

I met him at LAX like 30 years ago. I was trying to find a place to sit when I saw a guy alone at a table, sitting with his back to me. I asked if I could sit there before I realized who it was. We chatted a while and I can honestly say he was indeed an absolute gentleman and extremely gracious.
