Phew! El Niño has been doing it’s thing in Tucson. We had close to 3 inches of rain last night alone, with multiple swift water rescues by the FD in flooded washes. The relief from the heat is very welcome. The mosquitoes, not so much.

Visited the Redwoods when I was a kid, probably 1972 or so? I remember driving through the tree...and a little shop actually built into a tree. I'd love to visit as an adult, tho. What is Eureka like? Decent town, or iffy?

The Nature Conservancy has done an amazing job of reintroducing the endangered Chiricahua Leopard frog into these ponds in Ramsey Canyon. They are thriving! Sound up for frogs songs!
