We’re calling for a Florida boycott over the inhumane “Alligator Alcatraz” detention site. Cancel your family vacation and choose a different destination this summer.

Antivaxx and libertarianism are the same--they can exist only when the majority of the population buys in to what it takes to live in a society, allowing the minority to think they are outsiders thriving on their own exceptionalism.

Have you guys noticed that Trump still hasn’t even mentioned the storms in Kentucky that killed at least 30 people? Republicans are pretty quiet about the lack of response too. Outrage under Biden, silence now that he’s president. That’s how you know he never really cared.

The SAVE Act doesn’t save anything. Its main effect is to make it harder for women to vote, especially those like me who changed our names when we married. Hands Off Her Vote www.digitaldrumbeat.com/p/gop-plan-d...

GOP Plan: Deny MILLIONS of Women the Right to Vote

They see the election results, and they know women are a threat to their majority.

Here’s to a lovely beginning!

Hey, while we're talking about erasing history: In 1949 the US military held its first Aeriel Gunnery Competition, later known as "Top Gun." The best of the best competed in dogfighting and other skills. The team that won, was the 332nd: The Tuskegee airmen. So they refused to announce a winner🤡

James Harvey III, Tuskegee airman, leader of the team that won the US military's first aerial gunnery competition for combat aviators. AKA, Top Gun. James Harvey is a handsome Black man in WW2 uniform with an indomitableble look of calm confidence.

Dang it! All the block lists I have gotten added to - which is amazingly stupid to begin with - are gone. No really, I’m really appreciating the moderation happening here. To celebrate here’s a picture of my cat attempting the staircase half-loaf.

Black cat with white patch of fur on her chest looks directly at the camera from the step in the staircase she is sitting on. She is almost a load but has not tucked her front feet in.

@jaimieisloud.bsky.social Good to see you here! Glad to be mutual again on a new platform. I’m still really quiet (for now) but I’m better when it’s comments and not video.

Sheryl Weikal says Prosecute ICE @leftistlawyer.com · 18/01/2025

Just FYI, administrative warrants (like the ones used by ICE) are not judicial warrants (used by cops, signed by a judge). You do NOT legally have to open the door for an ICE officer with an administrative warrant *no matter what the ICE officer says.*

This little gent was looking particularly cute this evening.

Grey schnauzer wrapped in a blanket w/ grey, white, and teal stripes. Doggo is looking straight at the camera w/ his ears holding the blanket up off its head.
