The legal system is not going to save us from Trump 2.0. Cases started too late, the system is incapable of dealing with billionaires, and the judiciary is riddled with Trump appointees and judges sympathetic to the MAGA cause. The only choice is to turn out and vote. Despair.

It's more than this. It's not just that voters don't want restrictive abortion & reproductive laws--it's that they care about this issue so intensely that it's not only shifting *how* people vote--which political scientists will tell you is HARD--but also driving them *to* vote, upping mobilization

As a historian, I cannot help pointing out that, once upon a time, in 2008 to be precise, it was possible for Vanity Fair to publish a lengthy exposé on US government involvement in the horrible mess that brought Hamas to power in Gaza. archive.vanityfair.com/article/2008...
Vanity Fair has obtained confidential documents, since corroborated by sources in the U.S. and Palestine, which lay bare a covert initiative, approved by Bush and implemented by Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and Deputy National Security Adviser Elliott Abrams, to provoke a Palestinian civil war. The plan was for forces led by Dahlan, and armed with new weapons supplied at America’s behest, to give Fatah the muscle it needed to remove the democratically elected Hamas-led government from power. (The State Department declined to comment.)

But the secret plan backfired, resulting in a further setback for American foreign policy under Bush. Instead of driving its enemies out of power, the U.S.-backed Fatah fighters inadvertently provoked Hamas to seize total control of Gaza.

Trump: "If you don't like our religion...then we don't want you here." This is precisely what the 2nd KKK of the 1920s (that helped push the draconian 1924 Immigration restriction bill) said about Catholic and Jewish immigrants from Southern and Eastern Europe.

Wow. Trump says if he's elected he'll implement "strong ideological screening" of all immigrants to the U.S.
One of his criteria: "if you don't like our religion...then we don't want you in our country."

The fact that Biden’s brother wrote Joe Biden a $200K check as a loan repayment does reveal one very telling thing. The Biden family pays back its debts. The Trumps file Chapter 11.

It is heartbreaking to see so much of the legacy Jewish establishments in America think their job is to support this war in the name of unity. This will be a collective stain on our communal conscience for years to come. No amount of unity is worth this.
