I think it depends a lot on where you grow up. My town was much smaller when I was a kid. Used to come hime from uni at weekends to see green and cows - was at Kingston as a UG then the IoE for PGCE

It wasn’t pretty and it wasn’t fast but it was completed. I may have had to fix my goggles twice and forgot the anti-chafe but on the plus side it was a much more comfortable swim than the 1500m swim back in August

Google has now renamed Lake Ontario for US users. They don’t even show the real name in brackets. I used a VPN to compare: Apple hasn’t renamed it (at least not yet), nor has Dutch service Here WeGo or OpenStreetMap. Yet another reason to ditch Google, and US tech more broadly.
