I basically guessed the word and when I reverse engineered what the clue meant I was furious

minute cryptic clue "Find 500=100/y". The answer is "discovery". See, a discovery is another word for a find, and the Latin numerals for 500 and 100 are D and C. So 500=100/y forms the sentence "D is C over y". I bet Jonny Quarrie, who came up with that clue, was so proud of himself. Bastard.

High On Life, the first person shooter with a ton of dialogue by the Rick and Morty guy, the one who I think was cleared of doing anything actually illegal with underage girls, so you know at least he didn't commit a crime, but if I'm honest the real thing putting me off here is that I've seen a few clips of the game and they were amazingly cringe inducing

this game does look good, the industry was just coming out of the "everything brown" phase and this game was among the ones that veered hard in the other direction. lots of sunsetty orange-reds and eye-searingly bright blue sparks

Hard to fathom the level of laziness that would lead one to make an AI thumbnail of Lost, a show with 6 seasons worth of promotional images

A youtube video about Lost that even at first glance has that AI thing of looking like even the normal looking bits have a weird ugly filter over them

A close-up of some characters on the bottom left. The AI has clearly tried to portray some characters from the show but many of them are unrecognizable and the rest are fucked up. Like I think that's Daniel and Boone standing next to each other, two characters who existed three seasons apart. Then I think there's two Sayids, one of whom is very short. Not as short as that lady fourth from the right.

The bottom right makes if anything more of a hash of things. Starting at the left we've got Jacked Charlie, Buff Hurley Who Skipped Arm Day, Boone Again, and Tiny Sawyer, you know from that episode where Sawyer was shrinking.

they don't HAVE to hurriedly transcribe this shit, is the really infuriating thing. You can just google search "[show name+episode title] transcript" and often someone has already transcribed the whole thing. In the case of Doctor Who, THE LITERAL SCRIPTS FOR THE EPISODES ARE ON THE BBC WEBSITE

Saw a youtube clip earlier of QTCinderella lamenting how often she gets referred to as "Ludwig's girlfriend" and then as if by magic this ai summary of a QTCinderella video happens along
