Test drove an AION UT Electric car today. The software side on these leaves a bit to be desired, namely the annoying safety features that need to be manually muted each time. However it was comfy, drove really nice compared to some others, and the range for price is really hard to overlook.

After months taunting me I finally got my Atari PC3 fixed. It had some faulty RAM but after diagnosing and rellacing went into a non booting state. Replacing a few caps seemed to get it going again and I then finally managed to get the floppy disk to boor DOS. The Hard drive however wont spin up.

My Commodore 1084 (D) had the switch fail. It's a slightly different type than what's in most of the other monitors I have but luckily I'd previously ordered some "wrong" ones from Aliexpress that worked well enough by just bolting it in First pic is original and second pic is the replacement.

A WIP pixel art character. Going to try to do a quick study like this a few times a week in the evenings to try to break the doomscroll habits. Once I get my hand in for doing backgrounds I might add this guy to a scene.

Tried my hand Pixequare and made a pair of astronauts. Once upon a time I was a game artist but that was in the PS1 / PS2 era and it was all low poly so I never properly did my time on the pixel art stuff (I did paint textures by mouse though) Looking forward to doing some more + animation.

Delivery from Japan - everything seems to be intact but I haven't tested anything just yet. Would you believe this Sharp Twin Famicom is the first Famicom or NES I've ever owned? I was really looking for one of the red units but this apparently working black unit was going cheaply.

A bit of a hack to fit a momentary switch inside the accesory port to power on and off this Wonderswan Color. I've got some plans to get the buttons working properly again but this is a good temporary solution and with a 3D printed housing could be an ok option for others.

Janky DIY DIP40 breakout board. Involved me over engineering the build process so it could be less fiddly. Largely by pre-weaving the wires. It kind of worked and saved tedious bodging but invovled annoying remelting of the enamelled wire coating when continuity wasnt working as expected.

The new Game Boy Enhance model, the AGBM-02, is finally here! This is a replacement board for the AGBM-01, and uses AA batteries. For the uninitiated, my Game Boy Enhance design is a circuit-level recreation of the original GBA - it requires the use of the original CPU, so it's not emulation! 🧵

I think the SwanCrystal reverse is done aside from cosmetic stuff and maybe adding couple of touches to the silkscreen. I might branch it to modify the button pads slightly. Schematic can still be improved as certain components internal function gets figured out.
