Sacred geometry meets exposed silicon. When you tear into the machine, every layer ends up looking like a doorway. #DigitalCollage #ModernArt #AestheticFeed #DarkSurrealism #ArtDaily

A heavily glitched, psychedelic mixed-media collage formatted as a vertical 35mm film contact sheet with black frame borders. The entire image is distorted with intense chromatic aberration, RGB channel shifting, and high-contrast neon tones dominated by electric cyan, magenta, acid yellow, and deep indigo:
Top Left Panel: An overhead view of a disassembled computer motherboard, heat pipes, and exposed RAM sticks, washed in harsh teal and green noise with visible color-ghosted offset layers.
Bottom Left Panel: An overexposed, high-angle view of a bright hallway ceiling framing a glowing crimson doorway with sharp cyan displacement artifacts along the edges.
Top Right Panel: An intricate circular mandala of cosmic, bodily, and circuit motifs warped by vibrant digital pixel shear and color separation.
Middle Right Panel: An intense close-up of an illustrated eye whose iris and sclera radiate psychedelic neon bands, heavy color fringing, and digital scanlines.
Bottom Right Panel: A vaulted Renaissance fresco ceiling rendered in hyper-saturated neon blues, golds, and glowing cyan line traces that make the painted figures appear corrupted by digital artifacts.
A glitch-treated contact sheet collage pairing disassembled computer hardware and liminal architecture with sacred geometry, an illuminated eye, and Renaissance frescos, all distorted through heavy chromatic aberration and electric neon color shifts.

Jean-Michel Basquiat ‘Untitled’ (1984) mixed media | 223.5 x 195.5cm (88 x 77 in) Private Collection #ArtSky #Basquiat

"Untitled" (1984) by Jean-Michel Basquiat, is a significant piece from the height of the artist's career. Measuring approximately 223.5cm x 195.5cm, it serves as a dense field of diagrams, symbols, and figures that act as a commentary on identity, modern classification, and the human condition.

Key Themes and Symbols
The painting reflects Basquiat's signature Neo-Expressionist style, characterized by raw gestural lines, vibrant colors, and an "anarchic energy".
Instructional Mapping: The canvas is arranged like fragments from an instructional manual or textbook. It catalogs a wide range of systems, from the biological (circulatory and digestive systems, muscles and bones) to the technological (telegraph, telephone, radar, transistor, computer).

The Human Figure: A central, totem-like figure emerges from consecutive layers of paint. Like many of his "heads," this can be interpreted as a form of self-portraiture, where the artist presents himself simultaneously as a "victim and a vanquisher".
Anatomical Interest: Basquiat’s fascination with anatomy—stemming from a childhood hospital stay and his study of Gray’s Anatomy—is evident in the labeled internal organs and skeletal structures.

Cultural Juxtaposition: The inclusion of "Pagoda TM" and "Big Pagoda TM" alongside industrial and biological references creates a tension between ancient cultural knowledge and modern commercial classification.

Artistic Context
Created in 1984, this work was produced during a year of major professional milestones for Basquiat, including several solo international shows and his growing mentorship under Andy Warhol. The piece is noted for its "full-frontal portrayal" of a singular figure and a more balanced abstraction compared to his earlier, more chaotic works.

Something I made yesterday, edited by me. #MixedMedia #Art #Jean-MichelBasquiat #Photos #PhotoArt #Artist

A vibrant, high-contrast digital collage with a psychedelic aesthetic, dominated by neon blue, pink, and yellow tones. The image features several surreal, layered elements:
* Fragmented Faces: A woman at the top-right holds her head with a hypnotic black-and-white spiral where her face should be; a "Mona Lisa" style figure appears in the upper left; and a woman at the bottom has a cracked, ethereal face set against a dark, starry background.
* Symbols and Text: Two yellow navigational compasses are positioned in the corners. A yellow "ONE WAY" road sign is tilted across the center. Text elements include the zodiac signs "TAURUS" and "GEMINI" along the left edge.
* Textures and Patterns: The composition is filled with abstract blue brush strokes, a red circular mandala pattern, and gold celestial stars, creating a dense, dreamlike atmosphere.
The overall style blends classical art references with modern, glitchy graphic design to create a sense of chaotic, cosmic energy.
Would you like me to help you write a more detailed artistic analysis of this piece?

A nighttime scene. A the center is a black and white tabby cat with bright green eyes. They are standing on a narrow stump with leaves at the bottom. The cat is surrounded by a number of glowing goldfish.

If your "tactics" depend upon or threaten innocents as collateral, you aren't doing activism. You're doing destruction voyeurism. Once again. Organize. Educate. Empower. Lighting fires is not self-defense. Threatening neighbors' lives and homes because of some shit you saw on TV defeats the goal.

I wanted to say "This is America" but this is the world all of the works on this planet live in. Some are forced by someone else's hand, some are forced by the threat of losing the wages that feed their family. Either way we're slaves.
