What is happening in Louisiana right now is both a redistricting power grab and a dry run for authoritarian election subversion this Fall. The governor has declared a state of emergency to suspend the congressional elections because he doesn't like the current map.

An estimated 15.7 million workers use SNAP. It’s a lifeline for those in low-wage jobs. Meanwhile, CEOs are paid 280x as much as the typical worker. Don’t be angry at workers for using food stamps. Be angry at the corporations paying them so little that they need them.

Voting rights groups responded with uproar after Trump issued a far-reaching “authoritarian power grab” in the form of an “unlawful” executive order that would restrict voter access nationwide and punish states that make it easier for citizens to vote.

I believe it should absolutely stay as an option esp for military, but I will, God willing, only vote in person for the foreseeable future. I value my vote too much to take a chance on it being disregarded due to some f^ck3ry by whomever-whatever-wherever. Also- early voting 4tehwin.

The fact that we have to justify or prove inclusion is good for the bottom line as an encouragement is just so sad.
