so much of what’s happening with AI right now is preying on children whether it’s generating pornography of them, grooming behaviour from chat bots, or chat gpt demolishing their learning and research skills. this has to be at the forefront of the conversation.

I will be melting a lil bboogyuli ornament soon~

Glued together pieces of glass cut and ground into shapes. Clear glass is diamond-shaped with blue glass straws. A circular orange piece is centered on top of it, one red bead in the center, and three green at the top. A hook is at the top in-between both pieces.

Love this type’a kpop genre; idols lowkey implying they’ll cannibalize those that made them doubt their own self worth/image for the sake of the industry that consumed on their insecurities

two gifts I spent money on and can’t return… I bought stuff months in advance so I wouldn’t be entirely broke going into the new year, but I have to spend more now to get them something else 😞 I don’t have time to make something for them either

we are BOO! SEOK! SOON!

pictured are members of a subunit of the k-pop group seventeen. the subunit is called BooSeokSoon, named after the members that comprise it. the three members are standing under a tent wearing navy blue sports jackets and baggy jean(shorts), holding up their hands in their signature pose. on the left, we have lee seokmin (dk). his hand is in an upside-down peace sign. in the center is kwon soonyong (hoshi). his hand is held up like a tiger paw. on the right is boo seungkwan. his hand is held up like the rock&roll sign with his index and pinky finger up.

the quoted post has a picture of three sonic the hedgehog characters with the caption "don't kill yourself". fans of BooSeokSoon have made jokes about not killing themselves because the subunit was going to release new music. i made the connection between that post and my response due to the caption, and there being three characters, like there are three members in the subunit.

Day 6: Your favorite iconic meme ƪ(˘⌣˘)ʃ #kpopadvent2024 he IS breathing 💀

Vernon, member of the boy group Seventeen, is lying flat on his back on a futon (looking like a CORPSE), fast asleep. The caption reads, “[He is breathing.]”

Vernon, lying inside of a red and blue sack, earring a blue helmet, is face-down with his eyes closed against green field turf. There is a picture of the previous image of where he is lying on a futon just over his head. There caption again says, “[He’s breathing.][Huff huff]”

TO AVOID SPOILERS!! Don’t read the quoted post, I’m just giving my vague op. As much as the ending saddened me, I can’t think of anything else that comes close to being as perfect or poignant, regardless of it being categorized as middle-grade. Finishing it at age 14/15, it made perfect sense to me
