Our newest research study is out: Last fall, we tested the 10k Science experience, CRISPR & Sickle Cell, with students at an OUSD high school. This was our first "hands-off" study, where teachers took the reins and implemented the experience and accompanying activities on their own. #EduSky

How exactly do painkillers work? 🧪 Protoxin-II, a newly researched painkiller from UC Davis, blocks pain by binding to sodium channels to close them. Where as morphine acts on receptors that lower the neuron's excitability, so sodium channels open less often. See it in VR here:
