omg yesss. i think a starting point would be a really a juiced up pop up experience associated with the tour. they've already managed to take the merch pop up on the road with little engagement activities.

i think like you said it's def a correction after the festival gold rush. i foresee it going similarly to anime cons where smaller ones will shutter funneling more ppl into the big ones :/

i think there's also a problem of like... new festivals want to make money. ANY new event is going to be in the red for YEARS before turning a profit. a lot of bigger general festivals seem to be homogenizing their lineups, too, going for big names to guarantee $$ vs risk-taking

logically challenges with consistency are probably locale-related but also like... figure it out? yall make money make purse. people in NYC shouldn't be standing outside in line while us in dallas get to hang out inside a mall and mill about that sucks!

dont mind me yapping about silly tour things to just get thru work today XwX - i KNOW this week is gonna feel so fucking slow.

tho i concede i also got lucky. our city they work with a local kpop shop which is in a mall, so atiny basically take over the entire section of the air conditioned indoor mall, enter mobile queue etc. i know some pop ups were just outdoor queues without a mobile order system? which is weird to me?

like i remember IYF and DominATE were same summer (iirc) and comparing the two, SKZ had more production than ATEEZ but ATEEZ had the merch pop up for 3 days in my city (plus venue merch). i will take the fan experience of pop up merch vs. big set pieces any day. merch lines for dominATE were AWFUL

realistically i understand it takes a lot for something multifaceted to go on tour vs having one location but also ATEEZ prints that company money. i WILL say tho, them having standalone pop ups for multiple days at tour stops is chef's kiss. they should continue

does kq realize they dont need h82 to do an ateez themed festival day with q&as and activities did they know they can actually just like do that themselves as a standalone tour?

LOL no blame. i would keep them if not for google constantly reminding that I'm at 1% storage left (and i refuse to pay for storage) lmao
