Finding out reality of way our economy actually functions is an eye opener for sure. Many peoples whole lives go by without them realising some of truths contained in works of MMT. It must be noted that MMT is merely an accurate description of the function of a FIAT macro economy, nothing more.

I thought it had replied to this. I had the same journey starting at Gary Stevenson. I went looking for evidence to disprove it and failed to find it. Prof Richard Murphy on YouTube. Excellent t playlists on MMT.

Trisha, the same thing happened to me although I fell down a rabbit hole following Gary Stevenson on you tube. Search youtube for professor Richard Murphy. He has video playlists that explain all the aspects. I went looking for the evidence to discredit MMT. I did not find it.
