I believe Egypt's Mohamed Hany has just become the first player in men's World Cup history with multiple own goals

Now there’s a record I’d love to see CR7 somehow break

I scored an own goal back in 1973--and it still fookin' hurts. This poor guy needs to be on suicide watch.

new all-time FIFA men's World Cup career own goals leaderboard 1. Mohamed Hany, Egypt (2 own goals) 2. 65-way tie (1 own goal)

He also almost certainly has a concussion from that collision.

That’s what my quick perusal has said.

Ivan Vustov

Yes. While Australia have never scored by themself in Knockout Stages still. But now 2 Owngoals

He really *owns* that record

Go for 3 own goals. Would be on par with DiMaggio’s 56 game hitting streak or Cy Young’s 511 wins in terms of unbreakability.

All that matters is if you score.
