Nothing new here but people clearly underrated the African teams

I'll be the annoying guy sharing my fantasy draft, but in the one WC pool I entered, I took almost all the African teams (nvm the Czechia pick when I could have had South Africa and Bosnia instead for the same $$).

A lot of them have never been this organized defensively. Always had athleticism , size, sprinkled with players with elite technical qualities. Now defensive gaps are small and you need elite technicians or 1 v 1 monsters to create chances. No one on s. korea could win a 1 v 1 duel. Created nothing

As I recall, the African teams disappointed in the last few Word Cups, so that may be why they were underrated this time

Yes, but South Africa are a side that feel like they have been properly rated and just keep getting by because more talented sides they are drawn in a group with keep finding new and inventive ways to royally fuck up. Nigeria in qualifying; South Korea tonight.

They looked buns against Mexico, because Mexico is gonna win this thing

I'd argue that usually people overrate African teams and they finally learned their lesson... only for Africa to RISE UP! SNEAK ATTACK! (Asia is usually underrated so everything is all askew)
