thing that's been annoying me these playoffs: these ads for Google AI Mode that demonstrate asking a basketball Q to Google AI and then the question is answered thoughtfully on the broadcast by one of NBC's commentators — a human expert! which is extremely not what happens when you ask AI things

the Timberwolves sitting on the bench. NBC has put graphic on the screen that looks like a google search bar that says "what are the reasons NBA teams decide to go small in the Playoffs?" with a mouse symbol over the rainbow-colored "AI Mode" tab

it's frustrating bc it's exactly what I want in a sports thing during the playoffs. but it's for the worst reason & not reflective of the actual product
