Patrick Bryant @patrickbryant.bsky.social · 11/10/2025Too lazy to look it up, but I think the rule used to be that the ball wasn't dead when they caught the snap and held the kick while kneeling, but they couldn't get up. So holders would have to crouch to preserve the possibility of a fake/fire drill, and then everyone realized that was kind of dumb. 010
