Rodger Sherman @rodger.bsky.social · 16/05/2025This underscores why banning the Tush Push seems silly. If you’re going to write extremely precise rules to outlaw one successful play, football people will immediately scheme up ways to do the same thing but legallyNate Tice@natetice.bsky.sociallove my rules kings 1116114 161
grairdan.bsky.social @grairdan.bsky.social · 16/05/2025Wouldn't it be easier to just learn how to do the tush push yourself? Show some ambition, for Christ's sake! 030 3
Rak @rakmichael.bsky.social · 16/05/2025Just about the only way it makes sense to ban the play is if it was somehow more dangerous. The fact other teams have been less successful than the Eagles points to the skill of the players and not the play itself. It’d be like banning the 6’5” QBs from doing a sneak because they have better reach 000 0
jkhile @jkhile.bsky.social · 16/05/2025Seems like this is why - after the rules meetings - we heard that it was more likely that they would ban pushing entirely. 000 0
drakemayeenjoyer.bsky.social @drakemayeenjoyer.bsky.social · 17/05/2025Can foresee one of these coaches doing the slight alteration push, getting flagged incorrectly and going ballistic on the ref and it being a point discussed all week. They should either ban all pushing like it used to be or just leave it as it is now. The eagles are just better at it and that’s ok 000 0
D.A. Rosenthal @darosenthal.bsky.social · 16/05/2025how about "no pushing your own guys" pretty basic. 130 3
A.J. Gochenaur @thegoche.bsky.social · 16/05/2025Tush Push is dead. Long live the Ass Pass (immediately after the snap two beefy backs toss a skinny QB into the endzone). 000 0

Brian Thamm @bgt.bsky.social · 16/05/2025“You cannot push your own player when they are engaged with a defensive player” seems to cover it without ambiguity. 000 0
Dan LFGM @dfagella.bsky.social · 16/05/2025This is so dumb. What's so hard about "the ball carrier must not be intentionally pushed forward by his own teammate"? 210 2
Madtown Southpaw @madtownsouthpaw.bsky.social · 16/05/2025Here's what the rule should be: An offensive player can't push the player with the ball forward. This isn't rugby 100 1
