Book 16 of 2025 The Great Library Of Tomorrow by Rosalia Aguilar Solace I have absolutely devoured this book and I’m already looking forward to part 2 of the trilogy in November. An exploration and celebration of the better parts of humanity. Absolutely adore the cover art! 💙📚🪐 🌈📚 🌈🚀💫

The cover is a massive line drawing of a huge eagle with gilt edges to the feathers. The figure of a rider is visible on the eagle’s back as the wings are flared and claws outstretched as it is coming into land. Faint rows of bookshelves are in the background.

The title echoes the gilt gleam of the tips of the eagle’s feathers.

Book 17 of 2025 Swordcrossed by Freya Marske In reality more of a general fiction book than SFF although set in a pre-industrial world where queer relationships are viewed as completely equal with heterosexual ones. Mild 🌶️. 💙📚🪐 🌈📚 🌈🚀💫

A solid green background with 2 sets of crossed rapiers in gold. The bottom set also features 2 different male silhouetted heads in pink with white collars. The border is made up of elaborate pink frills entangled with a gold chain.

Book 18 of 2025 The Outcast Mage by @annabelcwrites.bsky.social Epic fantasy and perfect for fans of Trudi Canavan and S A Chakraborty. It has been very apt reading this while in Istanbul as this is also a land straddling East and West. Very much looking forward to the next instalment. 💙📚🪐 🌈📚 🌈🚀💫

A dark figure wearing a loose flowing robe standing on top of a sand dune with further dunes stretching into the distance. A large red disc that graduates to yellow surrounded by a circle of Arabic designs and an outer circle of glyphs. The title of the book is in black over the red disc.
