It's Jamie @sjamieit.bsky.social · 09/09/2026The city's new policy to automatically replant city trees after they're removed is great, but I haven't seen any of the trees that have been removed since it passed actually get replaced yet. I'm hoping they're just part of the fall planting this year. 390

I know that such projects are often seen as projects for the elite because they are closed to the general public, but they still have public benefits. They fight the heat island effect of the downtown core like public parks. 100

Bulb-outs for flowers = great! Bury power lines. Stop it with the toxic salt. Reduce heat, reduce flooding, make spaces people want to be in and move through. 041
