The infinite diversity of the internet never ceases to amaze me.

Meme that says: reading a fic by someone who's actually in the profession they're writing about so you're witnessing jargon unlike anything you've ever seen before

Comment: I think abt the fic where Sasuke Uchiha works for the Ottawa housing board every single day.

Screenshot of the fic summary on AO3. TAGS: public servants for the government of canada au, no plot no sex just endless ATIPS, sasuke is overworked and kakashi can't use ms excel, occasional unprofessional conduct, poor email etiquette, this is not an official publication of the government of canada, but if it was it would be in both official languages

DESCRIPTION: What Sasuke Uchiha wants is an indeterminate EC-02 Step 2 position with the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation that offers a decent salary, health benefits, paid vacation, and a manager who won't break all his Excel spreadsheets. What he gets is Naruto Uzumaki, an improbably attractive and unbearably annoying co-op student who eats way too much instant ramen and doesn't understand that "casual Friday" doesn't mean varsity sweatpants.

Official CBC Canada Reads Selection 2019, made possible by the generous support of the Canada Council for the Arts and the Ottawa Tourism Board.

I didn’t see it myself but someone once told me she found romantic fanfiction about Ben & Jerry’s ice cream. Different flavours of ice cream being in love with each other. I asked if it was good & she said I don’t know, it didn’t have my different flavours so I didn’t read it.

The more I think about it the more the actual bureaucracy of Konoha must be fucked up, because they clearly have things like welfare but their education system ends at 12 years old, after which they are apprenticed to a mercenary captain and go off to war the whole village government is one big VA

"It has also broken containment in that it is repeatedly recommended on the r/CanadaPublicServants subreddit and has spread beyond the Naruto fandom and Canadian government bureaucrat community."
