The water in it is a chemical. 2. 'Natural' is not a synonym for 'good', 'safe', 'fair-trade' or 'ethical'. I've significant issues with pollution associated with some synthetic pigments too. So I try & think about the shit I use. I also make some of my own pigments, labour practices incl mashing berries in my PJs) 0210
