*um actually* the forbidden fruit (at least during early catholicism) was probably a pomegranate due to the eve & snake bit of the story being akin to the Greco-Roman tale of persephone being seduced by hades via the offer of a pomegranate. My source? An episode from good eats from 20+ years ago 😅🥴
