One Dem in South godforsaken Carolina cynically adopting transphobic rhetoric is not the same as the Dem Party adopting it.
The Labour Party has collectively decided to persecute trans ppl--as a unit. The Dem Party is overwhelmingly on the other side of this and has a few outliers who aren't.
