Its pretty clear by how MAS treats this situation, she thinks that I am only protected as a man and as a trans person and no more. This is how she justifies us being forced into the wrong bathroom as it is now in line with our sex UNLESS the facility has space to easily create neutral spaces

Agree with everything you have written, only thing to add is people will be protected based on the sex they are perceived as, e.g. if a trans woman is perceived to be a cis woman and then discriminated against because of this, they are still protected. It's little consolation though.

not actually seen how far this extends in reality & it does not appear to be what MAS/ BP are relying on. They need us to be treated as male+ to make their exclusion work without being illegal other ways. Someone would need to be quite explicit to trigger by perception to not just claim knowledge
