Mixed on this. The open worlds in Mafia Definite Edition and 2 were great and added atmosphere and while there wasn't much to it was great set dressing. But at least it won't be a bloated open world mess like Mafia 3

Absolutely love it. Open world games have largely become giant time sinks with pointless fluff, about time we get a focused, linear, tightly written game world.
