Down Here For Your Soul @bombsfall.bsky.social · 08/08/2026I think movies could cut down or remove scenes of violence. It's usually unecessary to move the plot (why not just show the aftermath?) and it makes people uncomfortable when they take their parents to the movie theater all the time without looking into what film they are seeing beforehand 830837 308
Down Here For Your Soul @bombsfall.bsky.social · 08/08/2026I do think any adult complaining that movies need to change so they don't feel uncomfortable watching them after thanksgiving dinner or whatever is a complete baby child who needs to be burped 820818 208
BlonicYouth @blonicyouth.bsky.social · 08/08/2026You can have a gunfight in literally any movie and no one would question it. But I’ve never been in one of those? But I’ve been nude lots of times. 110 1

The Ken In Yellow @kenlowery.bsky.social · 08/08/2026For awhile there my family had the awesome power of choosing exactly the wrong movie to take my grandmother to after Thanksgiving. After THE ICE STORM (sad swingers, dead kid) and ELIZABETH (opens with a graphic witch burning) my brother and I were like: please consult us first. anyway we're fine 0110 11
ThePatrick (Patrick Coffman) @hatoriki.bsky.social · 08/08/2026If I made a movie I'd simply remove the story, too much of it. Just show stuff, don't need a plot or words or anything. What if someone with a different opinion of anything had to see it? Just Baraka all day, I guess 010 1
Jon @phyrkrakr.bsky.social · 08/08/2026my pop pop is very sensitive to ambiguous plot threads and morally gray characters im just trying to get him some socialization, these thematic elements are confusing him 000 0
