lol "org business processes" i was trying to be general but lapsed. but yeah, i think it's possible, it just takes a lot of care and thought... and like, your tech is what facilitates that collective care and thought to begin with :D complex systems, hard. good racket for monopolist!

So I’ve been trying to approach the idea of divesting from windows less as a “there are alternatives that can theoretically work” angle because that’s passive and hasn’t worked and more an active “what are the friction points in order to be fully free?” angle and yeah this is part of this.

Because yeah you can be a jagoff and say I’m gonna put Mint or Arch on a laptop but that doesn’t fully get windows out of our life, you’re sucked in again
