Fleo Fynx @fleofynx.bsky.social · 22/11/2025If they're gonna make it that hard why don't people just switch to another browser? I switched to Vivaldi personally. 240

bodhidave @bodhidave.bsky.social · 02/12/2025FYI ... Firefox is not my go-to browser, and apparently I'd not used it recently. So after making these about:config changes, it prompted me to refresh the Firefox browser, and when I did so ... these all defaulted back to the "true" positions. Xaymar @xaymar.com · 02/12/2025"browser.ml.enable" is also now present on the latest developer edition of Firefox on Android, yay. Having Firefox open halves the battery life, which thanks to all the other AI, Ads and Tracking nonsense is already poor. 021
J. Gray Dingler @jgraydingler.bsky.social · 02/12/2025Thanks for using alt-text. Made copying and pasting these easy. 1101
Ikuti/Isse @ikuti.dev · 03/12/2025Yeah Firefox is on my shit list for this. Hopefully those who need it can follow this, im going full fibre with Firefox only for some weird specific sites if I must. 020

sdomult @sdomult.bsky.social · 02/12/2025say, this is really handy information and all, but, when i type in "browser.ml.link Preview.enabled" in the about:config window, it only returns an option of "Boolean," "Number," or "String," with an "add" button on the far right. i'm not great with computers; what would i do with this, then? 130
GreyDuck @greyduck.net · 02/12/2025At this point I've given up and punted to Waterfox. But, this is still very good info, thank you! 240

Larry Flint @laryatflint.bsky.social · 02/12/2025Just read carefully - some of those settings are initially "false" by default, so check before you toggle ;) 010
