Trump is going to nominate Sean Duffy as DOT Secretary. His experience in the field includes meeting his future wife on the set of MTV’s “Road Rules: All Stars” in 1998. Trump's announcement here; note the lack of mention of railroads or transit.

President-elect Donald Trump plans to nominate former lawmaker and Fox News contributor Sean Duffy, who also had a turn on MTV’s “The Real World,” to be the next transportation secretary www.politico.com/news/2024/11...

Sure... they can travel safely, just not anywhere to get an abortion, if they do that, they can be arrested and brought back to any number of fascist red states.

It seems they used chat gpt to write this. "In the tone of Trump, write the announcement for the husband of (Fox News girl) who have 9 children, for some infrastructure stuff" Chat gpt 3.5 that is

"Largest road and bridge project in Minnesota history"? Genuine question - he's a congressman from Wisconsin, what bridge and road program did he build in Minnesota?

No, they met on The Real World. He is one of the biggest natural morons in existence. He's a born moron. Organic. He wasn't smart and then became moronic. He was born that way. 100% natural moron. No added intelligence at all.

I am having a very hard time finding actual experience in transportation for Sean Duffy. Among the bills that he sponsored during his time in Congress, he sponsored a bill related to logging vehicles (H.R.3778, 2015). He also sponsored a bill related to railroad shift changes (H.R.354, 2015).

"One more lane, bro. We just got to try one more lane." Also the railroad shift thing makes me wonder if he is in the pocket of the Class I railroads, which would not be good.

C'mon, his background is "Road Rules", and that sounds like he knows the rules of the road. Now if only we could get "The Road Warrior" Mel Gibson to help with enforcement I think we will have a golden age of transit.

The point of these nominations, as we saw in Trump's first administration, is to bring in loyalist outsiders with "fresh eyes." They are being chosen to DISMANTLE from within, undermine experts, scientists, economists, etc. This is step 1 for dictatorships
