For Retro Gamer magazine this month, I wrote two features! Twelve whole pages of games I love. First is a retrospective on Nintendo’s Super PunchOut!! And then a “Making of” Patapon in which I interviewed Patapon’s creator Hiroyuki Kotani. I’m so grateful! 🙏 Get it at bookstores now.

I should also just add that this piece on Patapon and Hiroyuki Kotani is one of my favorite articles I’ve made. Normally I really tear apart my own work when I finally see it in print. This one simply makes me happy, reads great, and I’m proud of it! Grateful again, and I hope you read it.
