So, no disrespect to whoever wrote this, but I just want to point out that games don’t age poorly or well. Games that weren’t good remain not good, and good games remain good forever. Sometimes a game you played as a kid was bad, but you didn’t realize it back then. It’s as simple as that.

There are many reasons I think PS3 is the greatest PlayStation console of them all, not the least of which is that it’s the first time we could play Vib-Ribbon in the USA. This is such a special game. If you haven’t played it yet, get it on the PSN Store now before it goes away forever next year.

Man, why don’t these companies just realize all they have to do is start with “I have a cool game concept. Hey this might make a cool halo game.” Instead of “We need a halo game, someone do something.” The answer is of course the insatiable hunger for endless ever increasing line go up, I know.

When I was six years old, I worked carrying bricks for my dad and earned five dollars, which I spent at a used book shop to buy Jack London’s Call of the Wild, and ever since I’ve wanted nothing out of life except to be a writer. To write a book, and for people to read it and feel something.

7,000 words today on the most difficult writing project I’ve ever attempted. Eight months of interviews, transcription, collating, organizing, researching, etc etc etc. I have no idea if it’s good. I have no idea who will read it. I don’t even know if I can finish it! It’s not in my control. Yikes

I came across a computer today owned by someone I don’t know who last turned it on in 2004, and it gave me an uncomfortably intimate look at their life as it was then. They were a writer, heartbroken, striving, struggling through a painful time in their life and it feels horribly too familiar.
