Yeah I think a lot of assumptions of GOP recovery do really require GOP competence beyond just "Dems aren't fixing everything" That sentiment only barely won in 2024 with Biden's horrid approvals, Trump at a popular point, and before even more voters were turned against the GOP forever

Musk is paying big for GOTV. It can make a huge, huge difference. More than just fired up to vote people really need to be fired up to knock (and campaigns really need to hire up to knock. it's a midterm. turnout counts even more)

Right, I am not hearing much reporting about what is actually being done so far with his doorknocking money though It leaves me wondering if they're moving too slowly compared to 2020's summer of the GOP relentlessly canvassing South Texas, etc.
