A detail shot of St. Roch’s church in Lisbon, Portugal. Four white, naked, male babies with brown hair are making a little pyramid. One at the center with a gold loincloth is holding another on his shoulders. The other two are holding each leg of the baby being lifted. The top baby is clinging to the wall which is entirely Baroque scrollwork.

You neglected to mention that at least one of the babies bears a striking resemblance to Edgar Allan Poe.

If these are the side chapels I’m scared to see the main altar.

Another side chapel at the Church of St. Roch’s in Lisbon, Portugal. One side of a gold arch with Baroque scrollwork in three vertical sections is seen. To the right, the wall has several openings for silver reliquary busts displayed in a circle over a polychrome marble portion of the wall. The main statue is on the arch of St. Veronica, wearing a green gown with red and gold draped fabric over it. She’s holding the mandylion, a gold cloth with Christ’s face. surrounding her are 8 more babies like the ones in the previous picture. Another 3 babies are on the wall of relics.
