I have caught covid from my downstairs neighbours via central air for the 2nd time in one year. I am so glad that I mask religiously, because you are contagious before symptoms appear and I just spent 3 days indoors with a dude who has an asthmatic kid. Wearing an N95 protects everyone around you.

This being said, I don't have words to convey the grief I feel over what I have sacrificed for 6yrs to live by my values (I wear a KN95 or N95 mask everywhere-- half of cases are asymptomatic but contagious) and to still catch covid repeatedly myself because most people stopped paying attention.

that's brutal, I hope the symptoms aren't too bad and your recovery goes well. it's frustrating to get it even after we do everything in our power to avoid it.
