Jamie Reed testifies that providers wouldn't be able to get a fair trial under SB 934's extended SoL for survivors of conversion therapy due to lack of long term recordkeeping. Jamie has however supported similar bills extending SoL for detransitioners to sue the clinicians who provided them GAC.

I have a question: How did Amanda Stewart’s case survive statute of limitations? From what I can tell, she first sought gender affirming care in 2007, detransitioned in 2016 but didn’t file a lawsuit until late 2023. How was the SoL not expired by then?
