There is a longstanding journalistic convention that newspapers generally keep opinion columns, editorials, and other commentary off the front page. Not the Boston Globe! Very on brand to put an anti-trans “Ideas” piece by David Mastio on the homepage. www.bostonglobe.com/2026/09/22/o...

Mount Sinai’s decision to put politics over the wellbeing of patients is a disgusting surrender to the Trump administration. Hospitals must stand up to these power grabs and hold the line to protect their patients.

You can register your disagreement with Nature publishing an SPLC designated hate group author with the editors: Chief Editor: Stavroula Kousta stavroula.kousta@nature.com.
Stavroula is the launch Chief Editor of Nature Human Behaviour. Prior to joining the Nature Portfolio, she was the Editor of Trends in Cognitive Sciences, one of the leading reviews outlets in the behavioural sciences. She then joined PLOS Biology, where she managed the journal’s magazine section, handled research manuscripts in neuroscience and introduced meta-science as a core discipline covered in the journal. Throughout her editorial career, Stavroula has been a strong advocate for rigorous research practices, the responsible communication of science, and inter-disciplinary research that directly addresses pressing social challenges. Stavroula’s academic background is in linguistics, experimental psychology, and cognitive neuroscience. She obtained a PhD in English and Applied Linguistics (psycholinguistics) from the University of Cambridge and then spent four years doing post-doctoral research on the psychological and neural underpinnings of language and semantic knowledge at University College London. Stavroula can be contacted at stavroula.kousta@nature.com.

Digging into the financials of searchlight, the argument, open philanthropy, third way etc. and it's remarkable how this post-2024 blitz of calling on Dems to abandon the groups and especially trans people, is funded by the same vc and hedge fund billionaires.

It's been a month since NYU Langone ended care. Letitia James deadline came and went, NYU still has not restarted care. Mamdani refuses to answer questions from trans journos over the real steps he can take, like directing H+H to absorb patients or enforcing human rights law. Important thread.

hi, cis folks! it’s been a little over a month since the 2 biggest private hospitals in NYC ended trans youth care. some folks thought this was resolved with a judge’s ruling or a letter from the NYAG. care has *not* resumed! there’s a simple ask ⬇️ for you, if you’re willing to fight with us. 🧵

Weird how every journalist writing ‘balanced’ feature stories on this issue turns out to be a deranged conspiracist and ideologue the second you hear them speak off the cuff

The NYT reported how Dr. Oz held a meeting with Medical orgs and a anti-trans hate group to coerce those groups into backing off their support of trans youth. Jeremy Peters and the NYT framed this shakedown as a reasonable meeting about medical evidence standards. The NYT's bias is clear again.
"A screenshot of a New York Times article published on March 16, 2026. The headline reads, 'In Tense Meeting, Dr. Oz Pressed Medical Societies on Trans Care for Teens,' with a subheadline stating, 'Most groups defended their support for medical intervention. But the Society for Plastic Surgeons broke with the consensus.' Below the text is a photograph of Dr. Mehmet Oz speaking at a podium bearing the Presidential seal, with blurred figures and flags in the background. The article is credited to Jeremy W. Peters."
